Located just south of McCormick Place and just west of Lakeshore Drive, Eastgate Village will consist of townhouses, duplexes and condominiums on land acquired from Mercy Hospital.

New West Realty and Mercy Developers (a partnership between Central Station's Fogelson Properties and Forest City Enterprises) are developing the property.

The four townhouse floor plans range from 1,998 to 2,567 square feet and are base-priced from the $450,000s to the upper $500,000s. They included the two-bedroom, three-bath McCormick; the three-bedroom, three-bath Burnham; and the two-bdedroom, 3.5-bath Cullerton. All residences offer a twocar garage, lower-level family room, main-level balcny and rooftop deck.

Standard finishes included hardwood flooring on the main level, granite ktichen contertops, 42-inch oak kitchen cabinets, 9-foot ceilings on the main and bedroom levels, ceramic bath tile and painted wood trim. An optional rooftop room can extend the living area up one floor.

To visit Eastgate Village and its four decorated models, take Stevenson Exressway (Interstate Highway 55) and exit at Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Turn south on King Drive, west on East 26th Street, then north onto Calumet Avenue. The sales center is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
